Wuesthoff Brevard Hospice & Palliative Care

Wuesthoff Brevard Hospice & Palliative Care, the first licensed hospice in Brevard County, has been providing care for those with life-limiting illnesses for over twenty years. These services and the interdisciplinary team that provides them are known for their compassionate excellence at the local, state and national levels. The interdisciplinary teams are made up of medical directors, nurses, social workers, home health aides, chaplains and volunteers, all of who are supported by management and administrative staff.

What is Hospice & Palliative care?

Hospice and palliative care is considered to be the model for quality, compassionate care for people facing a life-limiting illness or injury. This care involves a team-oriented approach to expert medical care, pain management, and emotional and spiritual support expressly tailored to each patient's needs and wishes, as well as support for the patient's loved ones. At the center of hospice and palliative care is the belief that each of us has the right to die pain-free with dignity, and that our families will receive the necessary support to allow us to do so.

Committed to caring for our community...
