In 1941, Wuesthoff began its legacy of giving. Eugene Wuesthoff and a group of community leaders generated the funds to build the first 10-bed Wuesthoff Memorial Hospital in Rockledge. In the many years since Wuesthoff's founding, the relationship between the community and the hospital has endured. Philanthropy - - gifts of time, talent, and treasure – has supported the hospital's growth every step of the way toward its current status as a comprehensive health care system that serves nearly all of Brevard County. When Eugene Wuesthoff made his original gift of $12,000, he and his colleagues may have dreamed of the future of their fledgling hospital – if so, their dream came true.

Wuesthoff Health System today is on a mission to provide the best, most affordable health care to our community, and Wuesthoff Foundation's mission is to support these efforts by building relationships throughout the community and encouraging philanthropic partnerships. You can help us achieve success and, at the same time, achieve some of your own goals regarding improvements in community health.
